Debbie's Artist Statement
I like color and lots of it. I don't want colors to just sit there. I want them to interact and create movement, to give the eye a reason to come back to the canvas again and again and for the viewer to keep discovering something new. I have found that acrylic pour paintings are an amazing technique to achieving this goal. I sell only one of a kind original pieces and the very nature of the medium ensures that no two pieces are the same. This is all about experimentation that sometimes leads to something beautiful and sometimes needs a complete do-over in about equal proportions. This is not about getting people to "invest" in art but letting people enjoy moving color on a canvas.
